Alicia Mott-Comitto is a published poet, meditation facilitator, and an accomplished songwriter. Now, she brings the fun and craziness of being a "boy mom" into her early chapter book series, Flick. Alicia remembers writing her first song around age 8 and her first short story around age 10 and never looking back.

Hi, I’m Flick. I may look like a regular kid, but I’m actually quite famous in school. I have a special talent for flicking things. I’m not sure when it all started but one of my earliest memories is flicking my binkie so hard that it knocked the monitor off my nursery table. Boy did my mom come running! Oh and one more thing you should know…I never miss my target!
